Alexa Shook
Alexa Shook graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Minor in Public Health from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2020, earning a 4.0 her final semester. She recently began an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and then hopes to earn a Master of Science in Nursing. Ultimately, she plans to become a Nurse Practitioner. Once she becomes a Nurse Practitioner, she wants to specialize in Maternity and Pediatrics with the hopes of one day opening her own practice.
She also added, “Anybody and everybody that has the blessing of having this scholarship to help them through school should do their best to make not only make themselves proud but to make NGS proud as well. It is truly an honor getting to be a part of this great organization now and I never once have nor will take that for granted. ”
Alexa told us, “I love that you guys express so much interest and really truly care about the scholarship recipients. I am so glad that this is the organization that helped to put me through school. You guys are amazing in all that you do.
