Krista McSwain
Krista McSwain graduated from the University of Memphis in December, 2022, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Studies, with minors in Legal Studies and Liberal Arts.
An exceptional student, Krista honed her leadership skills during her undergraduate studies. She proudly represented the University of Memphis as an Orientation Guide and Tiger Elite Student Ambassador, and cultivated a sense of community and inclusion as a Freshmen Orientation Counselor. Krista also served as Phi Mu Fraternity Chairwoman of Academic Excellence and Vice President of Judicial Standards and Education at the National Panhellenic Council.
Krista’s long-term goal is to work for the United States Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer. She was awarded a fellowship from the highly competitive Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Graduate Fellowship Program, and will participate in a congressional internship focusing on international affairs this summer. This fall, Krista will matriculate to the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies to pursue a Master of Arts in International Relations.
