Partners

More than a gift — a partnership.

Some organizations don't just give to No Greater Sacrifice — they build with us. They bring funding, expertise, or hands-on service, year after year, as recognized partners. Here is what partnership means at NGS — and the partners who embody it.

What partnership means.

Every partner is a supporter — but not every supporter is a partner. Partnership at No Greater Sacrifice is a deeper, lasting relationship: an organization that commits to our Scholars over time and brings the full measure of what it does best.

That looks like more than a check. It can be sustained funding that carries Scholars through school. It can be expertise given pro bono — legal counsel, professional services, gifts-in-kind that let more of every dollar reach a Scholar. It can be direct service: people who work shoulder-to-shoulder with Scholars and their families.

We shape every partnership around what an organization does best — and recognize the few who make that lasting commitment as our partners.

At the 2024 NGS Boot Camp, a smiling young man wearing a Virginia Tech shirt sits by a window while an older man places a friendly hand on his shoulder. The moment captures the mentorship and camaraderie central to the NGS program.

The partners who stand with us.

These organizations embody what partnership means — each in a different way.

Partnership through funding

Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund

Over more than a decade, the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund has granted $8.7 million to No Greater Sacrifice for the children of the fallen and severely wounded — support that places it at our highest level of recognition.

In June 2025, NGS presented Johnny Mac the Freedom Award for embodying freedom, sacrifice, community, patriotism, and esteem.

Partnership through service

LKQ Corporation

LKQ has been our BootCamp Title Sponsor two years running — underwriting the program that welcomes each incoming class of Scholars and their families to Washington, D.C.

Just as vital, LKQ employees show up in person: dedicated volunteers and mentors who bring energy, expertise, and follow-through to NGS Scholars and Alumni.

Partnership through expertise

Jones Day

The global law firm — more than 2,500 lawyers worldwide — has stood with NGS since our founding, providing pro bono legal counsel on tax, contracts, employment, and filings.

It is gifts-in-kind at its best: expertise that lets more of every dollar reach the mission.

Partnership through shared mission

Gary Sinise Foundation

NGS is proud to partner with the Gary Sinise Foundation in educating military children — and in deepening support for families who are also recipients of adapted homes and the Foundation's other programs.

The Foundation has backed our scholarship and mentorship programs since 2019.

Partnership through technology

Microsoft

Microsoft is our Technology Partner, equipping college-aged Scholars with new laptops as they begin their studies.

Each year, Microsoft hosts our BootCamp college onboarding at the Microsoft Innovation & Policy Center in Washington, D.C.

And a wider community of supporters.

Beyond the partners above, a broad community of companies and foundations sustains our Scholars as donors and partners — among them Citi, Goldman Sachs, Boeing, Verizon, UBS, and many others.
