Ryann Allen

Ryann Allen is in 11th grade, and she loves to play basketball and volleyball. She also teaches and takes dance lessons. Ryann is interested in attending college and majoring in linguistics.

She was six years old when her father, Army Staff Sergeant Charles "Chaz" Allen, stepped on a 40-pound improvised explosive device (IED) while on a dismounted patrol in Afghanistan. He instantly lost both legs along with other injuries. He and the family spent two years at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

The Allen Family says "The NGS scholarship truly lightens the load on our family and we are so appreciative!

NGS would like to thank UBS 1285 for their amazing support in making Ryann’s dreams come true.
