Garrhett Adkins
In memory of Garrhett's father, SFC Charles Adkins, U.S. Army
Garrhett earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a minor in Business Law from Middle Tennessee State University. His experience gained through tax internships with local firms has inspired him to pursue a career as a Certified Public Accountant.
There is no doubt that Garrhett's father, Army SFC Charles Adkins, would be proud of his son’s accomplishments. In 2011, Army SFC Charles Adkins was killed in action while deployed to Gamberi, Afghanistan.
“My dad was the biggest Cleveland Browns fan you would ever meet. Some of my favorite memories with him were watching games together. He took his Army career seriously but was looking forward to retiring after his last deployment, unfortunately, that day never came. I can still see my dad’s smile and hear his big booming laughter. I miss him every day and I hope he is proud of me.
I wish to express my deepest gratitude to No Greater Sacrifice for help in obtaining my undergraduate degree debt-free. Words cannot express how much this means to me.”
