The 2015 Liberty Award: Red, Fight, and Blue was a success. NGS would like to thank Colonel Timothy Karcher, NYPD Fighting Finest, An Garda Síochána Boxing Club, Republic of Ireland, and the sponsors, guests, and volunteers who participated in the event.
The Board of Directors of the No Greater Sacrifice honored Colonel Timothy Karcher, US Army, for his selfless service to our nation with the 2015 Liberty Award.
The NYPD Fighting Finest and The Republic of Ireland Garda put up a tremendous fight for the boxing part of the evening, and they faced off in the spirit of raising awareness and funds to educate the children of fallen and wounded Service members. After an exciting eight bouts of boxing, the NYPD was victorious in the end.
