Reception
2013 Freedom Award Reception
Thursday, September 12, 2013

Event details
The 2013 Freedom Award honored Sergeant Major Carlton Kent, US Marine Corps (Ret.), during a reception on the Jones Day rooftop. The reception was a success by raising awareness and funds for our mission to educate the children of fallen and wounded Service members due to the hard work of our co-chairs: Andy Maner and Holidae Hayes. The Freedom Award is presented annually to individuals who epitomize selfless service to the nation and represent the very best of our men and women in uniform. The recipients of the award embody five core principles: Freedom, Sacrifice, Community, Patriotism, and Esteem.
