Event details
No Greater Sacrifice launched our mission to educate the children of fallen Service members during a reception in Washington, D.C. The event raised awareness and honored Colonel David W. Sutherland, Commander, 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team "Greywolf", 1st Calvary Division of the US Army with the Freedom Award. The award is presented annually to individuals who epitomize selfless service to the nation and represents the very best of our men and women in uniform. The recipients of the award embody five core principles: Freedom, Sacrifice, Community, Patriotism, and Esteem.
Honored Guests included: Senator John McCain, Senator Joseph Lieberman, Senator John Thune, Louis Freeh – Former FBI Director, James Kimsey - AOL Founder, and Colonel David W. Sutherland.
