Press Release
Launching the Freedom’s Future Impact & Donor Report and Freedom's Future Campaign
The Freedom's Future Impact & Donor Report finds nearly 130,000 children affected since 9/11, with 35,000 expected to need an estimated $1.37 billion for college.

No Greater Sacrifice (NGS) is proud to release the Freedom’s Future Impact and Donor Report, which we believe is the first comprehensive effort by a veteran support organization to quantify the long-term cost of higher education for the children of America’s fallen and severely wounded Service members since 9/11.
Key Findings
Nearly 130,000 children have been or will be affected by combat fatalities, suicides, training accidents, burn pit–related cancers, and other service-related wounds from 2001–2047.
35,000 of these children are expected to pursue higher education within the next 20 years, requiring an estimated $1.37 billion in today’s dollars.
Our Impact So Far
Since 2008, NGS has provided tailored scholarships, mentorship, and coaching to nearly 500 Scholars.
Over 40% are currently pursuing higher education, 14% are preparing for their next steps, and the remainder are Alumni who graduated debt-free and are now leading in their communities.
Freedom’s Future Campaign
As part of our year-round fundraising efforts, we are launching the Freedom’s Future Campaign as our dedicated year-end initiative. This campaign is one of the many ways we continue advancing our mission to stand with the children of our fallen and wounded Heroes.
