Ashlyn "Brooke" Conrad
Jefferson College of Health Sciences
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Brooke Conrad graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2017. She is currently working in the cardiac intensive care unit at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA.
She will be going back to school to get her Master’s at Georgetown University with a specialty in adult-gerontology acute care as a nurse practitioner. After graduation, she hopes to work in a surgical specialty.
Brooke says, “I am so appreciative of being a recipient of the No Greater Sacrifice Scholarship. It helped me go into healthcare and further advance my career goals.
Thank you for your continued support of veterans and their families. Without your scholarship, it would have been a lot more difficult financially. I sincerely appreciate all of the support.”
Brooke’s Father, Army SSGT Jack Conrad served in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2004-2005. He died in 2015 from lung cancer resulting from burn pit exposure.
NGS would like to thank the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund for helping Brooke’s dreams come true.
