Ryan Phongphachone
Temple University
Bachelor of Science in Music Technology
Ryan Phongphachone graduated in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology from Temple University and is pursuing a career as an audio engineer and musician.
He says, "No Greater Sacrifice holds a very unique place in my heart. What differs it from other organizations is that they're always there to help you from start to finish."
Ryan’s father, Alex, was deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 when his convoy was hit by an IED. His vehicle was blown up and he suffers from a Traumatic Brain Injury.
Alex said, "We are all still speechless by this tremendous gift to my son, Ryan, by such a wonderful organization. Our prayers have been answered. We are still shocked! Ryan will take this golden opportunity to achieve a degree at Temple University with the utmost diligence and determination. No words will fully describe how grateful we are to No Greater Sacrifice, the Board Members, and all those gracious donors. Thank you Thank you!"
His sentiment echoes the gratitude we often hear from recipient families.
NGS would also like to thank the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund in supporting Ryan and helping him reach his dreams.
