Celebrating family, fitness and freedom the Freedom 5k is an annual event to raise money in support of military families both local and nationwide through organizations such as Parade Rest and NGS.  The Freedom 5K is 8 miles from Downtown Charlottesville, 3 miles from Interstate 64 Exit for 250 at Shadwell, and offers plenty of parking at our race site.
